Sandra L. Teague, 54, of Iowa City, one of the last two defendants sentenced in U.S. District Court for viewing President Barack Obama’s student loan records while an employee at Vangent in Coralville, appealed her case yesterday (Dec. 16, 2010) to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.
Teague was found guilty by a jury in August and sentenced Monday (Dec. 13, 2010) to two years probation. Other defendants accused of the same crime, who pleaded guilty before their trials, were sentenced to one year probation.
