The statement from Kevin Swanson, president of the company, read “ Swanson Glass is deeply saddened by the death of one of our own. Tom Fosdick was a valuable employee and a good friend. We extend our sincere and heartfelt sympathy to his entire family at this tragic time.”
The statement made no mention of specifics of the accident. Fosdick was involved in a window installation when the accident occurred.
Fosdick was remembered by the university earlier this week as a member of the swimming and diving team beginning in 1979.
