CEDAR RAPIDS – A man walked away from a crazy crash that sent a fence post through the roof of his car early this morning.
The crash happened on the exit ramp from 380 North onto Blairs Ferry Road just before 1:30 a.m., Thursday.
The white Chevy Impala has a huge hole in the windshield and a pole still piercing the roof. It entered and exited the cabin just behind the man’s head.
Police haven’t released the name of the driver, but did say the incident is being investigated only as an accident, and charges, at this point, aren’t pending
