WAUCOMA – A Waucoma man drowned Sunday when he attempted to swim across the Little Turkey River Turkey River, authorities said.
Christopher L. Spilde, 30, was pronounced dead when firefighters found his body in the river near Waucoma. Authorities responded around 5 p.m. when he was reported missing.
The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office was continuing to investigate the incident.
