CEDAR RAPIDS – Smoke alarms sounded at Oak Hill Manor apartments at 1311 15th St. SE this morning.
The 911 caller said no one knew why they were going off, according to police scanner traffic.
Firefighters and police rushed to the scene. They quickly learned that a hot, steamy shower had set off the alarms.
That’s a new one…
